Evelyn Huang Li Xian graduated in 2005 from the Berlin Institute of Art and Design in Singapore with a bachelor's degree, and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the China Academy of Art. She now lives and works between Hangzhou and Singapore. 黄丽娴 2005 年毕业于新加坡柏林艺术设计学院，获学士学位，现研究生于中国美术学院在读， 现工作生活于杭州、新加坡。

Among her notable works are Empty Room, The Ordinary and the Unusual II, The Ordinary and the Unusual III, and Angel's Wings — paintings that return again and again to the spaces people leave behind, and the traces of memory that settle into them. 其代表作品包括：《空房间》、《日常与异常Ⅱ》、《日常与异常Ⅲ》、《天使之翼》等， 画面反复回到人们留下的空间，以及沉淀其中的记忆痕迹。

In today's plural and fast-changing society, Huang sees inheritance and change as something quietly, constantly renewed — people searching for themselves amid confusion and anxiety. She believes everyone needs a window through which to reconcile with themselves; for her, the act of making a painting is that window, a form of self-dialogue where she finds a rare stillness and solitude. 在当前多元化的社会环境中，传承与变革隐秘地、不断地更新，人们在困惑和焦虑中寻找自我。 但她认为每个人都需要一个与自己和解的窗口。对她而言，创作的过程是一种自我对话与和解的形式， 而她在绘画中享受宁静与孤独。
