In 1996, Kwok Mei Foong began her artistic journey by joining the art club at Outram Community Club, where she studied Chinese ink painting under teacher Wu Shigui, laying a solid foundation in brushwork and ink application. 1996 年，郭美凤正式踏上她的艺术之旅，加入了欧南社区俱乐部的美术会， 师从吴世桂老师学习水墨画，在笔法和墨色的运用上奠定了坚实的艺术基础。

After Outram Community Club was demolished, she continued her studies at Tanjong Pagar Community Club under teacher Lin Luzai, and in 2005 became a member of the Tianxingjian Art Academy that he founded. 随着欧南社区俱乐部的拆除，她转往丹戎巴葛社区俱乐部，师从林禄在老师 继续学习水墨画，并于 2005 年成为林老师创办的天行健艺术院会员。
